Countdown to the Bemidji Township Election

I am running with the intention to serve all of our residents to the best of my ability. I would like to give back to the township that I have called home for over 20 years.
Roads
Our Township's main purpose and one of our strengths.
Fire Protection
A primary purpose and strength of our Township through the Rural Fire Board.
Planning and Zoning
Needs work. This is the most complicated and political part of our local government. I am curious how it will go in the future now that Northern Township is going to become a city.
Chickens and Honeybees
The issue that got me involved with our Township. I love chickens, but sadly had to get rid of them. Honeybees are useful bugs that should be encouraged everywhere.
Dogs and Cats
Yes, there are Township rules about your pets too. I have more questions than answers, as I have not had a pet since I was a child.
Rental Property
Balance is key when working with landlords and renters. Our township should be a model for other local governments.
Sign Ordinance
I am curious what you think about it and if you have any suggestions for improvement. This seems mainly to affect agricultural and commercial zones.
